| These days competitions charge $30-$35 per dance. Is this a fair price? |

It is an outrageous amount of money to spend on 1.5 minutes of dancing. Don't know where rescuestrays gets his math training but he is certainly an optimist. Anyway" fair" is not part of the picture. It is a market driven game and right now it is a very popular one what with all the TV dancing. Comps all seem to be up in numbers this year except Heritage. That comp made a lot of people unhappy last year by having Amateur couples dance on the postage stamp sized floor of the dinner room rather than in the main ballroom. Many said they would not return. What with all the cost does it bother anyone else that when comps have more entries and are pressed for time they shorten each heat? I still paid the same outrageous amount but they let me dance for 1min,10sec now?
Don't get me wrong. I love the whole dancesport thing but I do wish it were less expensive. |
