| 2007 Ohio Star Ball gained a couple thousand more entries over the previous year and it keeps growing year after year. Gentlemen dance their entries in a different ballroom, so did amateurs. I noticed Sam cut some silver levels in Latin I. A lot of levels started dancing from first rounds. Competition is getting so big and strong that it might outpace Pro divisions! Go America, go! |

| Ohio is such a great comp but I wonder what Sam would do with more entries. There were 3 ballrooms going for some of the time last year. You lose a bit of the intimacy of having everyone squeezed into one ballroom but the logistics just can't work out without those other rooms. I did miss seeing the men dance as they were way way way down the hall from the main ballroom. It made things feel like I was at 2 different comps. |
